Formerly Incarcerated Recovery Support Training (FIRST)

In partnership with the Forensic Drug Diversion Clinic in the Yale Department of Psychiatry, this work involves the development, implementation, and evaluation of the FIRST program for individuals in recovery from substance abuse and reentry training to become certified peer support mentors.

 

Child Abuse/Trafficking Prevention in Schools

In partnership with the Selah Way Foundation, this project is the evaluation of the outcomes and implementation of a child abuse/trafficking prevention curriculum implemented in K-12 schools.

Sex Trade and Trauma among Trans Folx

Utilizing data from the United States Transgender Survey (USTS) to investigate the impact of trauma and law enforcement on trans individuals involved in sex trade in the United States.

 

Evaluating Sex Trafficking Prevention with Community Stakeholders

In collaboration with Restore Corps (Memphis, TN, USA), this project involves evaluating the impact of a sex trafficking prevention program for community stakeholders including law enforcement, first responders, and healthcare personnel.

Online Exploitation of Boys and Men in Thailand

Funded by the World Childhood Foundation and in partnership with Up! International and Urban Light Thailand. This research explores the experiences of boys and men regarding online sex trade and sexual exploitation.

 

Health Disparities in Substance Abuse Treatment

This work involves utilizing large nationwide data (TEDS-D, NESARC) to examine health disparities present in substance abuse treatment settings.
